Abstract:

Cílem dané diplomové práce bylo ohodnocení akcií společnosti Apple Inc. pro investora a následné stanovení investičního doporučení, zda akcie koupit nebo prodat na základě zjištěných souvislostí. V teoretické části jsme uvedli informace potřebné pro komplexní ohodnocení kapitálového aktiva. V praktické části jsme provedli detailní analýzu aktiva při pomoci třech různých metod, jakož jsou fundamentální analýza, technická analýza a sestavení CAPM modelů, pomoci kterého byly ověřeny hypotézy výnosnosti dané akcie.Na závěr jsme zjistili, že společnost je finančně zdravá, vykazuje stabilní růst tržeb a čistého zisku, avšak akcie jsou nadhodnocené a vykazují abnormální výnos bez ohledu na trh. Ukázali jsme, že v případě akcií technologických společností model CAPM podhodnocuje predikované rizikové prémie kvůli záhadě rizikové prémie a přítomné technologické bublině. Prozkoumali jsme trend vývoje cen akcií a dosáhli jsme závěru, že dlouhodobě vzestupný růst akcií společnosti Apple je občas špatně vysvětlitelný kvantitativními financemi kvůli prosazení aktivní marketingové strategie.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the shares of Apple Inc. for the investor and recommend whether to buy or sell the shares based on the established context. In the theoretical part, we provided the information for a comprehensive valuation of capital assets. In the practical part, we performed a detailed analysis of the asset using three different methods, such as fundamental analysis, technical analysis, and the CAPM model, which was used to verify the hypotheses of the return on the stock.In conclusion, we found that the company is financially healthy, shows stable sales and net profit growth, however, shares are overvalued and gain an abnormal return regardless of the market. We have shown that in the case of shares of technology companies, the CAPM model underestimates the predicted risk premiums due to the equity premium puzzle and the presence of the technological bubble. We have examined the trend of stock prices and found that Apple's long-term upward rise in shares is difficult to explain in terms of quantitative finance because the company performs a successful marketing strategy.
