Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce analyzuje cyklus akčního výzkumu na téma využití technik dramatu k motivaci studentů angličtiny jako cizího jazyka ke čtení učebnicových textů. Koncept dramatu ve výuce a jeho využití při čtení je nejdříve zkoumán z teoretického hlediska. V praktické části tato práce prezentuje proces tvorby učebního plánu lekce zahrnující čtení učebnicového textu s využitím technik dramatu a dokumentuje a analyzuje praktické využití tohoto plánu ve výuce. Práce popisuje detaily kvalitativního přínosu tohoto výzkumu pro reflexi a podporu zlepšování vyučovacího procesu.

Abstract:

This thesis analyses a cycle of an action research process on utilization of drama techniques in motivating students of English as a foreign language to read their course-book texts. It first examines the concept of drama in education and its application to reading from theoretical point of view. In its practical part, this thesis presents an example of the process of creation of a lesson on reading with the utilization of drama techniques. Application of the lesson plan in praxis is documented and analysed. The qualitative aspect of this research is focused on and its reflective and teaching process supportive aspects are detailed.
