Celibacy of Roman Catholic Priests
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá celibátem římskokatolických kněží. Ve stručném historickém přehledu je možné sledovat, jak se od prvotní církve projevuje snaha zavést celibát jako neoddělitelnou součást kněžské služby.Tato snaha vyvrcholila ve 12. století na II. lateránském koncilu prohlášením veškerých manželství kleriků za neplatná. Abstract:
Theoretical part of this bachelor thesis is focusing on historical overeview development of compulsory celibacy from the beginning of early Church to the half of twelfth century when were compulsory celibacy legitimized. Second part of the thesis is consist of interviews with contemporary priests and with men who were or would like to be priest.
