Food as an Object and Medium of Artistic Expression

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá atributem jídla, které je v umění uchopeno jako umělecký předmět, či jako prostředek uměleckého vyjádření. Práce nepokrývá problematiku jídla, jakožto uměleckého atributu jako celek, ale zabývá se jí pomocí vybraných okruhů uměleckého média. V jednotlivých okruzích, kterými jsou malířství, hudba a film, jsou dané závěry demonstrovány na konkrétních uměleckých dílech. Práce není směřována do určitého časového období, ale její ohraničení spočívá v určení konkrétních uměleckých děl, na kterých je problematika demonstrována a vytyčován její obecný diskurs.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the attribute of food, which is grasped in art as an art subject or as a means of artistic expression. It does not cover the issue of food as an artistic attribute as a whole, but it deals with selected arts media. In individual circles, such as painting, music and film, the conclusions are demonstrated on specific works of art. The work is not directed to a certain period of time, but its limitation lies in the identification of specific works of art in which the problem is demonstrated and its general discourse is outlined.
