Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá postupy práce sociálních pracovníků vybraných domovů pro seniory s klienty, kteří z pohledu sociálních pracovníků neprožívají svůj život jako smysluplný. Text práce je rozdělen na tři části. Teoretická část vymezuje základní pojmy a koncepty nezbytné pro výzkum práce, především smysluplnost života, sociální službu domov pro seniory, sociální pracovníky a postupy práce přispívající ke smysluplnosti života. Metodologická část, objasňuje použití kvalitativní strategie zkoumání, představuje techniky sběru dat, operacionalizaci výzkumných otázek a organizaci výzkumu. Interpretační část představuje data interpretována ve vztahu k jednotlivým dílčím výzkumným otázkám. Závěr práce shrnuje zjištěné poznatky, odpovídá na hlavní výzkumnou otázku a nabízí doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with a social work methods used with clients of homes for elderly, who do not experience their lives as meaningful, from the perspective of social workers. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The theoretical part defines main terms and concepts witch are necessary for the research, such as meaningfulness of life, social service home for the elderly, social workers and their methods that leads to the meaningful life. The methodological part presents the use of qualitative research strategy, data collection techniques, operationalization of the research questions and organization of the research itself. The interpretive part presents the interpretation of the research data in relation to the partial research questions. Finally, the conclusion of the thesis summarizes the findings of research, answers the main research question and provides recommendations for a practice in the end.
