Abstract:
The thesis focuses on the hand gestures and their relation to speech acts in a German-American feature film. The theoretical part deals with speech acts and with two influential taxonomies proposed by J. L. Austin and J. R. Searle. Diplomová práce pojednává o gestech rukou a jejich vztahu k řečovým aktům v americkém hraném filmu. Teoretická část se zabývá teorií řečových aktů podle jejích dvou předních proponentů, J. L. Austina a J. R. Searla. Zároveň nabízí různé přístupy a klasifikace gest rukou 20. století.
