Survey and main characteristic of the centres providing rope activities in the region of the Tatras

Abstract:

Currently there is a rise of various leisure activities, apart from also centres providing rope activities, which are continuously developed and keen on popularity among local visitors and also foreigners. In the territory of the Slovak Republic, mainly in the Tatras as one of the most famous region in the field of tourism, new rope centres are established every year. Bachelor thesis is intended to provide an overview of complex information and main characteristics of these centres providing rope activities in the Tatras, because currently available documents are due to the permanent changes and different content determination insufficient. Bachelor thesis is aimed at theoretical backgrounds, which are subsequently presented in a mutual coherence with the practical knowledge gained by the experience. The thesis is split into the five chapters. The first chapter is focused on the characteristic of the Tatras region, particularly the High and Belianske Tatras, the West Tatras and the Low Tatras. At the end of the first chapter attention is focused on the target groups of people attending the rope centers and also the impact of the rope centers on their visitors. The second chapter deals with the conditions, which are needed for the establishment of the rope centres and the knowledge related to the security of the operation of the rope centres and also the equipment required for the safe motion in these centres. In the practical part of the bachelor thesis there is composed survey concerning respective rope centres in the Tatras region, their characteristics, evaluation and splitting up into the tables due to the reason of better limpidity, which allows more simple choice and easier orientation for visitors of the particular rope centres.

Abstract:

V súčasnej dobe sú na vzostupe rôzne voľnočasové aktivity, medzi inými centrá prevádzkujúce lanové aktivity, ktoré sa neustále rozvíjajú a tešia čoraz väčšej obľube medzi domácimi i zahraničnými návštevníkmi. Na území Slovenskej republiky, predovšetkým v oblasti Tatier ako jednom z najznámejších regiónov v oblasti turizmu a cestovného ruchu, vznikajú každoročne nové lanové centrá. Cieľom bakalárskej práce je priniesť komplexný a ucelený prehľad a základnú charakteristiku týchto centier prevádzkujúcich lanové aktivity v oblasti Tatier, nakoľko súčasné dostupné informačné materiály sú z dôvodov neustálych zmien a rozdielneho obsahového poňatia neúplné. Bakalárska práca je zameraná na teoretické východiská, ktoré sú následne prezentované vo vzájomnej korelácii s praktickými poznatkami získanými praxou. Práca je rozdelená do piatich kapitol. V prvej kapitole je pozornosť venovaná charakteristike regiónu Tatier, konkrétne Vysokým a Belianskym Tatrám, Západným Tatrám a Nízkym Tatrám. V závere prvej časti sa pozornosť zameriava aj na cieľové skupiny ľudí navštevujúce lanové centrá a takisto na vplyv lanových centier na ich návštevníkov. Druhá kapitola sa zaoberá podmienkami založenia lanových centier a poznatkami týkajúcimi sa bezpečnosti prevádzkovania lanových centier, ako aj ich vybaveniu, ktoré je potrebné z dôvodu bezpečného pohybu v týchto centrách. V praktickej časti bakalárskej práce je zostavený prehľad jednotlivých lanových centier nachádzajúcich sa v regióne Tatier, ako aj ich charakteristika, zhodnotenie a rozdelenie do tabuliek z dôvodu väčšej prehľadnosti, ktorá umožní ľahší výber a jednoduchšiu orientáciu pre návštevníkov jednotlivých lanových centier.
