The string quintet of Adolf Míšek

Abstract:
Práce se snaží objasnit okolnosti kompozice, objevení a vydání Míškova smyčcového kvintetu Es-dur rozhovorem s doc. Mgr. Radomírem Žaludem. Dále obsahuje podrobnou hudebně teoretickou analýzu kvintetu a z ní vyplývající analýzu interpretační kontrabasového partu. Cílem práce je podrobně zmapovat a sepsat veškeré informace týkající se tohoto méně známého díla.
Abstract:
This work aims at shedding light on the background, discovery and the publishment of Míšek´s string quintet Es-major through an interview with Mgr. Radomír Žalud. The work then contains a detailed musicological analysis of the quintet and from the outcomes of said analysis the work draws in its subsequent analysis of interpretation of the piece.
