Integration of a child with autism spectrum disorder in a Kindergarten

Abstract:

V předkládané bakalářské práci jsme hodnotili podmínky integrace dítěte s poruchou autistického spektra do jedné běžné mateřské školy v Brně. Jako dílčí cíl pak bylo popsat vnější a vnitřní podmínky a vytvořit kazuistickou studii. Práce je dělena na tři části – kapitoly. První a druhá část práce je teoretická, a je v nich popsána porucha autistického spektra z etiologického, symptomatologického a diagnostického hlediska, následně je popsána i klasifikace PAS. Teoretická část je dále zaměřena i na osobnost dítěte a problémy v jednotlivých oblastech triády. Dále jsou zmíněny možnosti vzdělávání dětí s autismem, legislativa s tím související a také funkce asistenta pedagoga. Třetí část je výzkumná, a je věnována případové studii dítěte s poruchou autistického spektra integrovaného do běžné mateřské školy. V závěru práce následuje zhodnocení celého projektu a dosažených poznatků.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis evaluates the integration of a child with an autistic spectrum disorder into a standard preschool in the city of Brno. A partial goal of the thesis was to describe the external and internal conditions gathering the results for a case study. The thesis is divided into three sections – chapters. The first and second sections are theoretical and provide a description of the autistic spectrum disorder from etiological, symptomatological and diagnostic perspectives as well as the classification of autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The theoretical section also focuses on the child’s personality and problems in the individual areas of the triad of impairments and provides an overview of possibilities for educating children with autistic spectrum disorders, related legislation and the role of the teacher’s assistant. The third section presents an overview and conclusions of the research, specifically a case study of a child with an autistic spectrum disorder who has been integrated into a standard preschool. The conclusion evaluates the project and the knowledge attained.
