Bakalářská práce pojednává o terapii amblyopie u dospělého pacienta. V úvodu je popsán neuroanatomický podklad binokulárního vidění a mechanismus vzniku amblyopie. Následující kapitola amblyopii charakterizuje a popisuje konzervativní léčbu. Čtvrtá kapitola se již zaměřuje na dospělého jedince, zabývá se kritickou periodou, a zbytkovou neurální plasticitou.
