Gian Gaston de' Medici and his Stay in Bohemia
Abstract:
Disertační práce se koncentruje na pobyt Giana Gastona, posledního z rodu Medici, v Čechách na přelomu let 1697 – 1708. Důvodem jeho přítomnosti bylo manželství se sasko - lauenburskou princeznou Annou Marií Francescou. Toto téma je zatíženo značným množství stereotypů, které se snaží tato disertace rovněž osvětlit.
Abstract:
The dissertation focuses on stay of Giana Gaston {last of the Medici family} in Bohemia between the years 1697 – 1708. The reason for the presence of a prince in Bohemia was his marriage with Anna Maria Francesca Princess of Saxon - Lauenburg. This topic is encumbered with considerable number of stereotypes that try to explain this thesis as well.
