Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá korupcí zejména v České republice v letech 2000-2015. Zkoumá míru korupce v České republice a také v Itálii a Dánsku. Na základě dotazníkového šetření ověřuje, zda mají občané České republiky osobní zkušenost s korupcí. V teoretické části je uvedena definice korupce, její příčiny a důsledky, dále jsou uvedeny ekonomické pojmy, které souvisí s tímto tématem a také subjekty, které se korupcí zabývají. V praktické části jsou uvedeny metody měření korupce a autor v této části také uvádí, že by bylo vhodné měření zpřesnit vytvořením kombinace metod, které používá např. organizace Transparency International. Vysvětleny jsou důvody, proč může být měření korupce nepřesné. V praktické části je také analyzován vlastní empirický výzkum. Z tohoto výzkumu vyplývá, že většina obyvatel považuje korupci za aktuální problém v České republice a že na vytvoření negativního názoru na korupci mají velký vliv média. Navzdory očekáváním bylo zjištěno, že se téměř polovina respondentů setkala s korupčním jednáním osobně.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with corruption, more specifically corruption in Czech Republic in years 2000-2015. It explores the Corruption Perceptions Index in Czech Republic, Italy and Dennmark and it checks whether or not czech citizens have personal experience with corruption based on authors own empirical research. In the theoretical part, author explores the causes and the consequences of corruption and also discusses the economical terms connected with corruption and organizations that are dealing with corruption. In the practical part, methods of measuring corruption are presented and the author of this paper brings out, that it would be suitable to create combination of these methods (which for example organization Transparency International uses) to make them more accurate. In the second part, the empirical research is analyzed. This research has revealed that most of czech citizens are considering corruption in Czech Republic as an actual problem and this opinion is highly influenced by media. Despite expectations, it was revealed, that almost half of respondents have experienced corruption in one way or another.
