Computer criminality in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem určitých druhů počítačové kriminality v České republice. V práci jsou definovány tři druhy počítačové kriminality, a to trestné činy související s ochranou duševního vlastnictví v prostředí ICT, dále to jsou trestné činy proti důstojnosti osoby v prostředí ICT a v neposlední řadě podvodné jednání za účelem zisku v prostředí ICT. Všechny definované druhy počítačové kriminality jsou sledovány a komparovány během dvou období. Jedná se o období od 90. let minulého století do roku 2011 a od roku 2012 do roku 2015. V práci jsou komparovány jednotlivé případy počítačové kriminality, na nichž lze vidět vývoj a změny těchto druhů počítačové kriminality na území České republiky.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the development of specific kinds of computer criminality in the Czech Republic. In the thesis three kinds of computer criminality are defined and those are criminal acts related to protection of intellectual property rights of others in the ICT environment. Next, criminal acts against the dignity of each and every person in the ICT environment are defined and last but not least fraudulent behaviour for the purpose of profit in the ICT environment is defined as well. All the described sorts of computer criminality are studied and compared during two periods. First one is a term since 1990s until 2011 and the other one since the following year until 2015. In the thesis the particular cases of computer criminality from the Czech Republic are dealt with – the cases of which development and modifications we can possibly observe.
