Abstract:

Praktická část práce popisuje restaurátorský zásah provedený na nástropní olejomalbě v místnosti v prvním patře zámku Zboží. Začátek textu je věnován stručnému popisu objektu, v němž se daná malba nachází a námětu obrazu z hlediska ikonografického. Dále je zařazen popis restaurátorského průzkumu, dokumentující stav malby před restaurováním, včetně laboratorních analýz. Následující kapitoly popisují jednotlivé kroky restaurátorského postupu. Teoretická část práce mapuje nástěnnou malířskou výzdobu na klenbě a v podkruchtí kostela sv. Václava ve Veliši. Zaměřuje se na osobnost autora malby, lounského malíře Antonína Smichea. Je vymezena charakteristika jeho tvorby v souvislosti s dalším jeho dílem v kostelích v Lounech a v Dolním Ročově. Součástí práce je popis malířského zásahu provedeného na malbách v roce 1894 malířem Ludvíkem Nejedlým z Nového Bydžova. Část textu je věnována obecnému zhodnocení přístupu k restaurovanému dílu na konci 19 století. Součástí práce je posouzení současného stavu maleb v kostele sv. Václava v obci Veliš.

Abstract:

This thesis refers to the restoration treatment which has been done on the ceiling oil painting. Its subject is "The Resurrection of Lazarus", which is in the interior of the Zboží chateau. We have described the building containing this painting in the preface of this text and have clarified the picture's theme iconographically. The following text documents a restoration survey of the colour layer and includes the results of laboratory analysis. The development of the restoration process is shown in the other chapters. A set of photographs of each step of the restoration progress is given as a component of our work. The theoretical part of bachelor's thesis has been mapping part of a wall-painting decoration situated in the nave and under the choir in Saint Wenceslas church at Veliš. We have focussed our observation on the personality of Louny¨s painter, Antonín Smicheus. A characteristic aspect of his work of art is defined in our thesis. Some characteristics of his creation has been shown in comparison with two other works by him in churches in Louny and Dolní Ročov. Our further work has concerned a repainting in the church at Veliš by Ludvík Nejedlý from Nový Bydžov in 1894. We are going to try to describe an attitude to restoration work at the end of 19th century generally in the other part of our work. A component of our work has been an examination of the current condition of wall paintings in the church of Saint Wenceslas at Veliš.
