Meeting the needs of the target group of seniors in Bruntal

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá uspokojováním potřeb seniorů za pomoci sekundárních institucí v Bruntále. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jak konkrétní organizace v Bruntále napomáhají, nebo brání k naplňování potřeb seniorů, kteří zde žijí. Teoretická část pojednává především o pojmech potřeby, senior a senioři ve městě Bruntále. Kvalitativní výzkum byl proveden prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s 11 respondenty. Empirická část analyzuje a interpretuje data z polostrukturovaných rozhovorů respondentů v 9 oblastech: pomoc seniorům, oblast bydlení, oblast venkovních prostor a budov, oblast mobility, oblast sociální participace, oblast respektu a sociální inkluze, oblast občanského zapojení a zaměstnanosti, oblast komunikace a získávání informací a nakonec oblast komunitní podpory a zdravotních služeb. Z výzkumu vyplynulo, že seniorům ve městě Bruntále je ze strany konkrétních organizací nejvíce bráněno k uspokojování potřeb v oblasti bydlení, oblasti venkovních prostor a budov a oblasti komunitní podpory a zdravotních služeb. Počet slov základního textu: 28.962.

Abstract:

This disertation is concerned with meeting the needs of seniors with the help of secondary institutions in Bruntál. The aim of the study was to determine how a particular organization in Bruntál helps or hinders the fulfillment of the needs of seniors who live here. The theoretical part deals mainly with the terms like a need, a senior and seniors in Bruntál. The qualitative research was conducted through interviews with 11 respondents. The empirical part analyzes and interprets data from semi-structured interviews of respondents in 9 areas: helping seniors, the field of housing, the field of outdoor spaces and buildings, the field of mobility, the field of social participation, the field of respect and social inclusion, the field of civic participation and employment, the field of communication and information retrieval and the field of community support and health services. The research shows that specific organizations hindered most to meet the needs in the field of housing to the seniors in Bruntál in the field of outdoor spaces and buildings and in the field of community support and health services.
