Time factor in radiotherapy

Abstract:

V mé bakalářské práci jsem se zabývala časovým faktorem v radioterapii. V teoretické části mé práce jsem hlouběji popisovala lineárně kvadratický model rozšířený o časový faktor a také spinocelulární karcinomy nebo-li epidermoidní nádory. Dále jsem psala o frakcionačních režimech, reparaci, regeneraci, reoxygenaci a repopulaci. Praktickou část jsem zaměřila na spinocelulární karcinomy hlavy a krku u konkomitantního boostu, kde jde o šesti týdenní režim. Také jsem se zaměřila na nádory děložního čípku u normofrakcionace, kde jde o pěti týdenní režim. Ve své studii se soustředuji na prodloužení času při těchto režimech a zjišťovala jsem jaké má prodloužení času důsledky.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis i deal with the time factor in radiotherapy. In the teoretical part of my work i have describe linear quadratic model further extendet of the time factor and squamous cell carcinoma or herwise a squamous cell tumors. Next, I wrote about the fractionation schemes, repair, regeneration, reoxygenation and restocking. The practical part is focused on squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck at concomitant boost, where there is a six-week regimen. I also focused on cervical cancer in normofrakcionace, where there is a five-week regimen. In my study I have concentrated on extending time for such modes and I identify what implications should extend the time have.
