Diplomová práce je věnována metodě strojového učení zvané MARS (Multivariate Adaptive Regression Splines). Cílem práce je nejprve představit tuto metodu, fungování jejího algoritmu, podobu a způsob vytváření modelu a jeho odhad. Následně jsou v práci s využitím Monte Carlo simulací zkoumány vlastnosti odhadů modelů získaných pomocí této metody a část z nich je porovnána s vlastnostmi odhadů modelů …more
Abstract:
This thesis is based on the machine learning method called MARS (Multivariate Adaptive Regression Splines). The object of this thesis is to introduce this method and algorithm, explain how the respective model is constructed and estimated.
