Autorka se v této diplomové práci věnuje problematice omezení základních lidských práv a svobod při výkonu nepodmíněného trestu odnětí svobody. Těžištěm této práce je vymezení samotného institutu trestu odnětí svobody a rozbor jednotlivých práv a svobod odsouzených osob vykonávajících svůj trest ve věznicích.
