Coaching as the way of leadership in the company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá koučováním jako stylem vedení zaměstnanců. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, teoretické a empirické. Teoretická část práce představuje problematiku vedení zaměstnanců a poté popisuje koučování jako jednu z metod, které se ve vedení lidí využívají. Zabývá se variantou, kdy se samotný vedoucí pracovník ve firmě rozhodne používat koučování v rámci svého stylu vedení. V druhé, empirické části jsou pak představeny výsledky výzkumu na toto téma. Výzkum zkoumal osm manažerů (ředitelů nebo vedoucích pracovníků), kteří prošli kurzem koučování a zavádí tuto metodu do firmy, kde dříve nebylo zvykem ji používat.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with a coaching style of management employees. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part presents the problem of personnel management. The next is desribing coaching as one of the methods that are used by people in leadership. It deals with the situation, when the manager executive in a company chooses to use coaching in their leadership style. In the second, empirical part are presented the results of research on this topic. The research examined eight managers (directors or executives) who have passed a coaching course and introduces this method to a company, where they were not previously using it.
