Impacts of digitalization and artificial intelligence on the accounting profession in Czech republic

Anotace:

Cílem bakalářské práce je shrnout a objasnit vliv umělé inteligence na profesionály v oblasti účetnictví v České republice. Úvodní část pokrývá základní představení umělé inteligence a definuje způsoby jejich využití. Dále se zaměřuje na rozbor umělé inteligence technologie a jejího uplatnění právě v oboru účetnictví, představí přínosy zmiňovaných technologií pro daný obor, ale i možná rizika spojená s jejich implementací. V praktické části se následně porovnávají postoje odborné literatury s názory české odborné účetní veřejnosti. Tato práce má za cíl umožnit čtenáři lépe pochopit implementaci umělé inteligence a moderních technologií v oblasti účetnictví a přiblížit výhody a rizika, respektive dopady vyplývající z každodenního využívání těchto technologií v české účetní praxi.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to summarize and clarify the impact of artificial intelligence on accounting professionals in the Czech Republic. The introductory part covers the basic introduction of artificial intelligence and defines the ways in which it is used. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the analysis of artificial intelligence technologies and their application in the field of accounting, presenting the benefits of these technologies for the profession, as well as the potential risks associated with their implementation. In the practical part, the views presented in professional literature are subsequently compared with the opinions of the Czech professional accounting community. The objective of this thesis is to enable readers to better understand the implementation of artificial intelligence and modern technologies in the field of accounting and to present the advantages, risks, and impacts perceived through the everyday use of these technologies in Czech accounting practice.
