Silent History: Prejudice of the Past and its Projection to the Present in David Guterson's Snow Falling on Cedars

Silent History: Prejudice of the Past and its Projection to the Present in David Guterson's Snow Falling on Cedars
Abstract:
Abstract:
The thesis explores occurences of prejudiced behaviour in David Guterson’s Snow Falling on Cedars. Individual portrayals of prejudice in the novel are examined in the context of historical events, in order to prove that the charges, and the trial Kabuo Miyamoto is put to, are based primarily on bias.
