Abstract:

Tato bakalářské práce představuje portrét enfant terrible ruské literatury Fadděje Bulgarina, který tvořil v první polovině 19. století. Ve své práci nastiňuji jeho život a literární tvorbu. Zmiňuji také nelehké postavení, které měl autor mezi svými literárními kolegy jak v ruském, tak i českém prostředí. Pro přesnější kontext přidávám krátký popis politicko-historického pozadí v Rusku, které spisovatele ovlivnilo, a dění jak v ruské, tak české literatuře. Dále se text zaměřuje na vybrané české překlady Bulgarinových děl a přibližuje čtenáři jejich problematiku a význam v souvislostech české literatury 19. století. V závěru se nachází krátká kapitola (podkapitola) týkající se doporučení na další možné překlady tohoto autora a několik poznatků (zajímavostí), na které jsem při hledání podstatných informací ke své práci narazila.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis presents a portrait of the enfant terrible of Russian literature, Faddej Bulgarin, who was a writer in the first half of the 19th century. In my work I write about his life and literature. I am also mentioning the difficult position the author occupied among his literary colleagues in both Russian and Czech environments. For a more precise context, I am adding a brief description of the political-historical background in Russia that influenced the writer and the events in both Russian and Czech literatures. Furthermore, the text focuses on the selected Czech translations of Bulgarin’s works and introduces the reader to their issues and meanings in the context of the 19th-century Czech literature. In the end, there is a short chapter (subchapter) about recommendations for other possible translations of this author into Czech and several points I came across while looking for substantial information concerning my work.
