Strategy of financial counseling for national minorities in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřená na přístupnost, efektivnost, srozumitelnost finančního poradenství a finančních služeb pro klienty národnostních menšin žijících v České republice se zaměřením na vietnamskou klientelu. První kapitola se zabývá specifikací finančního poradenství, finančními produkty, které současný trh nabízí pro fyzické osoby. Práce prověřuje související potřeby klientů, které rozhodují o volbě příslušného produktu či finanční služby. V druhé kapitole se zabývá významem poskytování finančního poradenství, charakterem finančních institucí nabízejících tuto službu a způsoby zajištění ochrany zákazníka včetně příslušné legislativy. V práci je také řešena problematika národnostních menšin, jejich integrace v České republice, konkrétně se zaměřuje na vietnamskou národnostní menšinu. V bakalářské práci byla provedena komparace interkulturních rozdílů české a vietnamské populace, a řešen vliv jednotlivých kulturních znaků při volbě finančních produktů. Dále se práce zabývá souvislostmi komunitního chování Vietnamců při využívání finančních služeb poskytovaných bankovními nebo finančními institucemi.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the financial advice and financial services, its accessibility, efficiency, clarity for clients of national minorities living in the Czech Republic, specifically on Vietnamese clients. The first chapter of this thesis describes the specifications of financial advice and financial products that the current market offers to the individuals. The thesis examines the needs of clients and their choice of the relevant product of financial service. The second chapter points out at the importance of providing the financial advice, the feature of financial institutions offering this service and how they ensure the clients protection including legislation. This thesis addresses what challenges the national minorities brings, the integration in the Czech Republic, focusing specifically on the Vietnamese national minority. The thesis compares the intercultural differences between Czech and Vietnamese population and it also describes how the individual cultural charakter influences the decision and choice of the financial product. Furthermore the thesis displays how the use of bank financial services or other financial institution are influenced by the community behavior of Vietnamese.
