Conflict of roles within an interdisciplinary team, taking into account the role of a medical-social worker

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zjistit a představit roli zdravotně-sociálního pracovníka a dalších členů interdisciplinárního týmu v kontextu jejich pracovních činností a spolupráce ve zdravotnickém zařízení, se zaměřením na vznik situací, kdy dochází ke konfliktu rolí, z pohledu zdravotně-sociálního pracovníka. Teoretická část obsahuje dvě hlavní kapitoly. Kapitolu s názvem Interdisciplinární tým ve zdravotnickém zařízení, v té je popsána náplň práce a kompetence všech členů a zdravotně-sociálního pracovníka, kteří působí v interdisciplinárním týmu. A kapitolu Konflikt rolí v interdisciplinárním týmu ve zdravotnickém zařízení, ta je věnována konfliktům, které mohou nastat při práci ve zdravotnictví. Cíl výzkumu je zjistit, jakou náplň práce mají zdravotně-sociální pracovníci působící v interdisciplinárním týmu, při jakých činnostech dochází k překrývání rolí a ke konfliktním situacím, a jak tyto situace prožívají. Výzkum proběhne pomocí kvalitativní výzkumné strategie metodou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to find out and present the role of the medical-social worker and other members of the interdisciplinary team in the context of their work activities and cooperation in a medical facility, with a focus on the emergence of situations where there is a conflict of roles, from the perspective of the medical-social worker. The theoretical part contains two main chapters. The chapter entitled Interdisciplinary team in a healthcare facility, which describes the work content and competence of all members and the health and social worker who work in an interdisciplinary team, and the chapter Conflict of roles in an interdisciplinary team in a healthcare facility, which is devoted to conflicts that may arise while working in a medical facility. The aim of the research is to find out the workload of medical-social workers working in an interdisciplinary team, during which activities overlapping roles and conflict situations occur, and how they experience these situations. The research will be conducted using a qualitative research strategy using a semi-structured interview method.
