V poslední době se při pohledu na strukturu venkovských zahrad čím dál víc prosazuje okrasná zahrada na úkor užitkové zahrady, jejíž původní funkcí bylo hlavně samozásobitelství čerstvými plodinami pro vlastní kuchyni. Recently, when looking at the structure of rural gardens are increasingly promoting the ornamental garden at the expence of productive garden, whose original function was mainly self-supply fresh crops for their own kitchen.
