The impact of road communications D10 and I/35 on the development and distribution of the population

Abstract:

Vývoj dopravní infrastruktury může být jedním z faktorů, který ovlivňuje rozmístění obyvatelstva v prostoru. Cílem této předkládané práce bylo posoudit vliv silničních komunikací D10 a I/35 na obyvatelstvo mezi roky 1971 a 2011. Předložené výsledky byli získány převážně na základě kvantitativních metod, byla vypočtena data pro vývoj počtu obyvatel a poměru vyjíždějících k ekonomicky aktivnímu obyvatelstvu. Využity byli i metody síťové analýzy v prostředí GIS, a to pro zpracování časové dostupnosti. Posouzení zkrácení cesty mezi obcemi a centry bylo uděláno na základě změn v hodnotách deviatiltiy. Výsledná data ukazují větší vliv měst na zkoumané charakteristiky, než vliv dopravní infrastruktury, jelikož rozdíly ve vývoji obyvatelstva při porovnání vzdálenosti od velkých měst jsou vyšší, než při porovnání vývoje obyvatelstva v závislosti na vzdálenosti od nové dopravní infrastruktury.

Abstract:

The development of transport infrastructure can be one of the factors that affects the distribution of the population in space. The aim of this presented work was to assess the impact of roads D10 and I / 35 on the population between 1971 and 2011. The presented results were obtained mainly on the basis of quantitative methods, data were calculated for the development of the population and the ratio of people leaving to the economically active population. Network analysis methods in the GIS environment were also used to process time availability. Assessment shorten the journey between the villages and centers has been done on the basis of changes in the values deviatiltiy. The resulting data show a greater influence of regional centers on the examined characteristics than the influence of new transport infrastructure, as differences in population development when comparing distances from large cities are higher than when comparing population development depending on distance from new transport infrastructure.
