A Possibility of External Financing of the Enterprises through Capital Markets

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou možností dlouhodobého financování podniků se zaměřením na IPO vybraného subjektu. Práce je rozdělena na čtyři tematické celky. První část je zaměřena jednak na obecný popis podniku a jeho cílů, ale také rozebírá externí a interní možnosti podnikového financování. Druhá kapitola je věnována převážně českému kapitálovému trhu. Ve třetí kapitole je, mimo jiné, popsán proces emise dluhopisů a prvotní veřejné nabídky akcií. Poslední praktická část se podrobně zaměřuje na IPO společnosti Pivovary Lobkowicz Group, a.s. a její následnou komparaci s již uskutečněnými primárními emisemi na Pražské burze cenných papírů.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of long-term corporate financing with the main focus on IPO. It is divided into four thematic parts. The first chapter focuses on theoretical aspects of entrepreneurship and forms of external and internal financing. The Czech capital market is described in chapter two. The third chapter deals with the process of issuing corporate bonds and the process of Initial Public Offering. The last part of the diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of the Pivovary Lobkowicz Group’s IPO and its comparison with other Initial Public Offerings that were conducted on the Prague Stock Exchange.
