Abstract:

Disertační práce se zabývá komplexním hodnocením významu rekreačního potenciálu příměstských lesů na vybraných územích. Metodika použitá pro výzkumné práce zahrnuje terénní výzkum lesa přímo na modelových lokalitách a další kamerální vypočet. Rekreační potenciál lesa byl sledován a analyzován na třech vybraných územích v období dvou let. Na území Slovenské republiky byl zkoumán Horský park v centru města Bratislavy; v České republice – příměstské lesy (Kohoutovické) ve městě Brno; na území Národního parku Soči, Ruská Federace – Matcestský lesopark. V průběhu kamerální práce na druhé a třetí lokalitě byly použity lesní taxační materiály v elektronické podobě. Hodnocení indikátorů bylo provedeno na každé zvláštní lesní plošce, omezené přírodními hranicemi nebo dle hospodářských lesních plánů. Důkladný a pravidelný monitoring rekreačních lesních ploch a další kalkulace hodnoty lesu pro rekreační účely dává možnost předem upozornit na nevratné a negativní procesy v lesních ekosystémech po rekreační aktivitě. Práce je významná jak na lokální úrovni, kde může sloužit jako podklad pro šetření příměstských rekreačních lesů, tak na národní úrovni pro další metodickou přípravu výzkumu. Metodika práce umožňuje srovnání významu rekreačního potenciálu příměstských lesů v České republice a v cizině a má tak i mezinárodní význam.

Abstract:

The dissertation thesis deals with a complex evaluation of the recreational potential of suburban forests in selected areas. The methodology used for the study work includes field research of the suburban forest directly on model areas and calculation according to the method. The recreational potential of the forest has been monitored and analysed in three selected areas during two years: Gorski Park in the centre of Bratislava, Slovak Republic; suburban forests (Kohoutovické lesy) in Brno, Czech Republic; Matcesta Forest Park at the territory of Sochi National Park, Russian Federation. An electronic form of Forest taxation materials has been used throughout the course of work at the second and third locations. The evaluation is carried out on each specific forest area limited by natural borders, according to the forest management plans. Comprehensive and regular monitoring of recreational forest areas and further calculations of forests’ value for recreational purposes, allows focusing on further reduction of irreversible and destructive processes in forest ecosystems as a result of the recreational activity. The work is equally significant at the local level, where it can serve as a basis for the investigation of suburban recreational forests, as well as at the national level for further methodological preparation of research. The methodology of the work allows a comparison of the importance of recreational potential for the urban forests in the Czech Republic and abroad. Thus, it has tremendous international significance.
