Tato diplomová práce se zabývá kulturními obrazy, které vychází z literérního díla Jiřího Marka. Popisuje ambivalentní přístup k německy mluvícím kulturám a jak jsou skrze literaturu šířeny. Diplomovou práci tvoří teoretická východiska z diskurzivní analýzy v rámci kulturálních studií.
