Vývoj humanitární pomoci, jak ji dnes známe, započal před více než sto lety a prošel za tu dobu mnoha významnými změnami, obdobími a myšlenkovými proudy. Humanitarian aid as it is known in present days has its origins in 19th century and since then it has gone through many important changes, developments and streams of thoughts.
