Compression of binary, text and graphical data
Abstract:
Práce pojednává o metodách komprese binárních, textových a grafických dat. První část je zaměřena na bezztrátovou kompresi RLE, LZW a další. Druhá část se týká okrajově ztrátové komprese, která je reprezentována metodou komprese JPEG. Třetí částí je popis nejpoužívanějších komprimačních programů.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with methods of compression of binary, text and graphical data. The first part is focused to lossless compression RLE, LZW and other. The second part concerns about loss-making compression, which is represented by compression method JPEG. The third part is a description of the most used archivers.
