The rehabilitation process of an adult patient with a displaced fracture of the humerus after surgery: a clinical case

Abstract:

The rehabilitation project of the clinical case proposed by me, of an adult patient with a displaced fracture of the humerus after surgery, exposes and tells how the patient faced the therapy during its phases. Therefore, specific treatment techniques are described, in order to understand the effects induced by the administration of specific stimulations aimed at improving and healing the patient. The aim of this thesis work is to introduce the patient's problem in its many facets. A search was carried out for articles and quantitative studies were selected that examined the analysis of rehabilitation, of the fracture, of the treatments that can be done and various scientifically validated rehabilitation methods. This work suggests the effectiveness of studying in depth the specific case of the patient who comes to the office. In future research, it would be interesting to understand if the various rehabilitation treatments can shed light on some limitations existing in the formulation of particular therapeutic methods, allowing greater reliability in the interpretation and planning of the patient's healing path

Il progetto riabilitativo del caso clinico da me proposto, di un paziente adulto con frattura scomposta dell'omero dopo intervento chirurgico, espone e racconta come il paziente ha affrontato la terapia durante le sue fasi. Pertanto, vengono descritte specifiche tecniche di trattamento, in modo tale da poter comprendere gli effetti indotti dalla somministrazione di specifiche stimolazioni, volte al miglioramento e alla guarigione del paziente. L'obiettivo del presente lavoro di tesi, ? introdurre la problematica del paziente nelle sue sfaccettature. ? stata compiuta una ricerca di articoli e sono stati selezionati studi quantitativi che hanno esaminato l'analisi della riabilitazione, della frattura, dei trattamenti che possono essere fatti e varie metodiche riabilitative validate scientificamente. Il presente lavoro suggerisce l'efficacia di studiare a fondo il caso specifico del paziente che si rivolge in studio. In ricerche future, sarebbe interessante comprendere se i vari trattamenti riabilitativi potranno far luce su alcune limitazioni esistenti nella formulazione di particolari metodiche terapeutiche, consentendo una maggiore attendibilit? nell'interpretazione e progettualit? del percorso di guarigione del paziente.
