The Usage of Imaging Methods in the Diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci na téma využití zobrazovacích metod v diagnostice Alzheimerovy choroby se zabýváme problematikou Alzheimerovy choroby a možnostmi využití různých zobrazovacích metod, které podpoří určení diagnózy. Tato kvalifikační práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je nejdříve popsána základní anatomie mozku, je zde zmínka o historii Alzheimerovy choroby. Dále se v práci nachází seznámení se samotnou Alzheimerovou chorobou. V neposlední řadě je v práci uvedena diagnostika, zejména jsou zde popsány zobrazovací metody, které se používají k vyšetření mozku při potřebné diagnostice Alzheimerovy choroby. Závěrem je zde popsána terapie využívána při tomto onemocnění a možná prevence. V praktické části jsou uvedeny cíle práce a kazuistiky pacientů, u kterých bylo podezření na Alzheimerovu chorobu. Veškerá data v praktické části jsou získána z Fakultní nemocnice Plzeň, Lochotín.

Abstract:

In this bachelor thesis that is focused on topic "The Usage of Imaging Methods in the Diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease", We deal with the issue of Alzheimer's disease and the possibilities of using various imaging methods which support the diagnosis. This bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part is described the basic anatomy of the brain and there is a mention of the history of Alzheimer's disease. In addition, there is an introduction to Alzheimer's disease itself. Last but not least, there is a diagnosis in the work, especially here are the imaging methods used to examine the brain in the necessary diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease. Finally, the therapy is used to treat this disease and possibly to prevent it. The practical part presents the aims of the thesis and the cases of patients suspected of Alzheimer's disease. All data and information in the practical part is obtained from the Faculty Hospital Pilsen, Lochotín.
