This diploma thesis deals with fantasy literature, its definition and the description of its characteristic basic traits. There is a list of subgenres and pseudosubgenres, the so-called genre mixes, which are also described in detail. Abstract:
Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá fantasy literatúrou, jej definíciou a popisom základných charakterových rysov. Taktiež sú v nej vymenované a popísané jej podžánre ale i pseudopodžánre - takzvané žánrové zmiešaniny. Preto sa táto práca v ďalšej časti venuje teórii literárneho druhu ako takého. V záverečnej časti je táto problematika vysvetlená na konkrétnom literárnom diele.
