Analysis of results from melting oxides in a cold crucible

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce je zaměřena na tavení oxidů ve studeném kelímku. V úvodu je popsán rozdíl principu tavení elektricky vodivých a nevodivých materiálů ve studeném kelímku. Následně je kladen důraz na startovací fázi při tavení elektricky nevodivých materiálů. Dále je proveden zjednodušený výpočet studeného kelímku, a také byla provedena simulace účinků elektromagnetické indukce na různé uložení vloženého startovacího materiálu. Na závěr je v práci provedena analýza čtyřech taveb oxidů kovů a vyhodnocení technologie tavení ve studeném kelímku kritériem 3E.

Abstract:

This magister thesis is focused on the melting of oxides in a cold crucible. The introduction describes the difference in the principle of melting electrically conductive and non-conductive materials in the cold crucible. Subsequently, emphasis is placed on the star-up phase of melting of non-conductive materials. Furthermore, a simplified calculation of the cold crucible is carried out, and simulations of the effects of electromagnetic induction on various storage of embedded starter material have been performed. In conclusion, the analysis of four melting of metal oxides and the evaluation of the melting technology in the cold crucible is performed by the criterion 3E.
