Abstract:

Resumé Diplomová práce mapuje stručně vývoj a pojetí folkové hudby, a to především v českých podmínkách. Zachycuje vývoj folku od počátku 60. let, kdy se tento žánr začal rozvíjet a všímá si rozdílů, které ve folkové hudbě nastaly po pádu totalitního režimu roku 1989. V souvislosti s politickou situací a společenskými podmínkami vymezuje také znaky typické pro folkovou píseň. Jelikož současný folk v sobě zahrnuje velké množství žánrů, je následující kapitola věnována charakteristice bluegrassu, neboť Robert Křesťan, na kterého je celá práce orientována, je jedním z našich předních muzikantů a textařů, vycházejících z tohoto žánru. Z toho vyplývá také další kapitola. Ta obsahuje Křesťanovu biografii, hudební vlivy, které formovaly jeho hudební směřování a historii tří skupin, ve kterých hrál, nebo stále hraje. Hlavní část celé práce si všímá písňové tvorby Roberta Křesťana. Následující kapitola je proto věnována Křesťanově poetice a básnickým nebo jazykovým prostředkům, které ve svých textech používá. Protože od roku 2001 je možné označit Křesťanovu hudební dráhu jako sólovou, jsou poslední dvě kapitoly věnovány dvěma zajímavým projektům. Prvním z nich je CD 1775 básní Emily Dickinsonové, druhým pak překlady písňových textů Boba Dylana do češtiny. Z těchto dvou alb jsou v práci uvedeny nejzajímavější písně. Protože je Robert Křesťan autorem velkého množství textů, práce obsahuje jen několik písní v plném znění, ve většině případů však pracuje jen s částmi strof, případně celými strofami. Robert Křesťan je známý nejen v České republice, ale také ve Spojených státech amerických, kam od roku 1994 jezdí každoročně koncertovat. Přesto zatím zůstala jeho tvorba trošku stranou zájmu. Tato práce proto přináší pohled na jednu z nejzajímavějších osobností písňové tvorby, jeho život a dosavadní uměleckou činnost.

Abstract:

This work briefly maps the development and the conception of folk music, mainly in the czech terms. It captures the influence of folk from the beginning of the 60´s when this genre begins to develop and it noticek the differences that occured in the folk music after the fall of totalitarian regime in the year 1989. In connection with the policical situation and the social conditions specifies also the signs typical for the folk song. Due to the fact that contemporary folk involves big amount of genres, the following chapture is dedicated to the characteristics of bluegrass, because Robert Křesťan whom is the whole work directed to is one of our front musicians and text writers, going out of this genre. Next chapture results from it too. This chapture contains Křesťan´s biography, music impacts, that formel his music direction and the history of three groups, where he has played or he still plays. The main part of the work noticek the song formation of Robert Křesťan. The next chapture is that´s why dedicated to Křesťan ´s poetry and the linguistic resources, he uses in his texts I tis possible to indicate Křesťan´s musical track as a solo from the year 2001 two last chapters are dedicated to interesting projects. The first of them is CD 1775 of poem sof Emily Dickinson, the sekond then the translations of song text sof bob Dylan to Czech language. Due to the fact that Robert Křesťan is the autor of a big amount of texts, the work contains only several songs in full sordiny, in most cases I work with only the part sof verses, eventually the whole verses. The whole work brings us the look of one of the most interesting personality in the Czech song formation, his life and his present artistic activity.
