Tato diplomová práce se zabývá různými teoriemi sebevraždy. Jejím hlavním cílem je srovnání teorií stoických filosofů, kteří jsou zde zastoupeni stoiky řeckými (Zenón z Kitia, Kleanthés a Chrýsippos ze Soloi) i římskými (Seneca, Epiktétos a Marcus Aurelius) a teorií sociologických, které reprezentují Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk a Émile Durkheim. Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with different theories concerning suicide. It aims to compare the theories proposed by Stoic philosophers including Greek (Zeno of Citium, Cleanthes, Chrysippus of Soli) and Roman philosophers (Seneca the Younger, Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius) with the sociological theories formulated by Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk and Émile Durkheim.
