Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá teoretickým pojetím problematiky fraktálů. V úvodu jsou popsány geometrické útvary, které lze považovat za předchůdce fraktálních objektů. Je představen hlavní představitel a zakladatel fraktální geometrie a jsou popsány základní vlastnosti fraktálů. Pomocí iteračních funkčních systémů je popsán vznik některých fraktálů a jsou zadefinovány důležité pojmy týkající se fraktální geometrie. Jedny z nejzajímavějších aplikací fraktalní geometrie jsou představeny v kapitole Lindenmayerovy systémy, kde jsou uvedeny i nejjednodušší konstrukce a hlavní představitelé. Složitost fraktálů je popsána pomocí fraktální dimenze. U složitějších fraktálních útvarů jsou uvedeny odhadovací metody. Na závěr jsou uvedeny praktické využití fraktálů. V celé práci je vše ilustrováno na příkladech a názorných obrázcích.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with a theoretical concept of fractals problem. In the beginning, geometric shapes are described, which can be considered as the ancestor of fractal objects. The main representative and founder of fractal geometry is introduced followed by the description of the basic properties of fractals. The formation of some fractals is described using iterative functional systems, also the important terms concerning fractal geometry are defined. One of the most interesting applications of fractal geometry is presented in the Lindenmayer Systems chapter, where the simplest structures and main representatives of the system are also presented. Fractal complexity is described using a fractal dimension. For the more complex fractal formations, methods of estimation are given. The practical use of fractals is presented in the conclusion. Everything is illustrated by examples and illustrative pictures.
