Transgenní sója je jednou z nejrozšířenějších geneticky modifikovaných plodin. Je známá pod obchodním názvem Roundup Ready (RR) sója od firmy Monsanto. RR sója je odolná vůči glyfosátu, který je účinnou složkou totálního herbicidu Roundup. Transgenic soybean is one of the most widespread genetically modified crop plants. It is known under the trade name Roundup Ready (RR), soybean developed by Monsanto Company. RR soybean is resistant to glyphosate, the active ingredient of the herbicide Roundup, as a weed control agent.
