Abstract:
Rod Silene představuje velmi zajímavý model pro studium evoluce pohlaví determinujících systémů. Dvoudomost se u tohoto rodu vyvinula dvakrát nezávisle na sobě (v sekce Otites a v sekci Melandrium) a navíc v průběhu evoluce sekce Otites došlo ke změně systému determinace pohlaví ze samičí heterogametnosti na samčí heterogametnost. A profoundly important model for the study of dioecy is the genus Silene. Within this genus dioecy has developed independently in two different taxa, the section Melandrium and the section Otites.
