Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku ESG a nefinančního reportingu ve společnosti SERVISBAL OBALY s.r.o. Práce si klade za cíl vyhodnotit současný stav naplňování indikátorů ESG ve vybrané společnosti a následně navrhnout aktivity vedoucí k jejich naplnění do budoucna. Teoretické část poskytuje náhled do oblasti udržitelnosti a udržitelného rozvoje a historický kontext problematiky. Představeny jsou také reportingové standardy, samotný koncept ESG či legislativní požadavky s ním spojené skrze směrnici CSRD. Praktická část nejprve představuje nejprve samotnou firmu a její aktivity, které jsou v rámci ESG zhodnoceny. Poté jsou představeny jednotlivé metriky a indikátory, které byly vybrány jako vhodné pro společnost z hlediska jejího obchodního modelu a odvětví činnosti. Závěrečná část práce se věnuje dodatečným doporučením, která by mohla společnosti pomoci.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the issue of ESG and non-financial reporting in the company SERVISBAL OBALY s.r.o. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current state of fulfillment of ESG indicators in the selected company and subsequently propose activities leading to their fulfillment in the future. The theoretical part provides an insight into the field of sustainability and sustainable development and the historical context of the issue. Reporting standards, the ESG concept itself, and the legislative requirements associated with it through the CSRD directive are also presented. The practical part first presents the company itself and its activities, which are evaluated within the framework of ESG. Then, individual metrics and indicators are presented that have been selected as appropriate for the company in terms of its business model and industry. The final part of the work is devoted to additional recommendations that could help the company.
