Abstract:
Předmětem bakalářské práce "Obraz města Frenštát pod Radhoštěm" je studie metody zkoumání obrazu města podle Kevina Lynche. První část práce je teoretická a věnuje se především problematice mentálních map a metodě zkoumání image obecně. Druhá část je zaměřena na aplikaci této metody do praxe. Na základě tvorby mentálních map a interview s místními obyvateli je utvořen obraz města.

The subject of the thesis "Image of the city of Frenštát pod Radhoštěm" is study of image of the city according to conception of Kevin Lynch. The first part is theoretical and deals with mental maps and method of studying image in general. The second part focuses on the application of this method into practice.
