Analysis of Equity Risk Depending on the Time

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku investování do akcií. V jakých časových horizontech se tato investice vyplácí a jak nejlépe sestavit výdělečné portfolio. V první části je kladen důraz na teoretickou část věci a sumarizaci informací získaných z odborných publikací. V druhé části nazvané primární výzkum jsem se zaměřila na otázku praktickou, jak se dříve načerpané informace využívají v praxi a na hodnocení nenadálé situace, která otřásla akciovými trhy v roce 2008. Ve třetí části práce jsem se snažila zanalyzovat historickou ziskovost a rizikovost investování do akcií, historii vývoje akciových indexů, a zda platí, že dlouhodobá investice do akciového portfolia je výdělečná. Čtvrtá část je zaměřena na zkonfrontování teoretické a praktické stánky věci, a zda platí pravidla a získané informace ze sekundárního výzkumu ve výzkumu primárním. Ve výsledcích a závěru lze nalézt zhodnocení výsledků a zamyšlení nad stávající situací.

Abstract:

The Bachelor’s work focuses on the issue of investing in shares in which time frames the investments are gainful, and describes the best way of compiling an earning portfolio. In the first part an emphasis is put on the theoretical part of investing and on the summary of information gathered from professional publications. In the second part, known as the primary research, I focused on the practical question of how to use information drawn earlier in practise and on the evaluation of emergent situation and the shakeup of stock markets in 2008. In the third part of the work I have tried to analyze the historical profitability and riskiness of investing in shares, the history of the development of equity indices, and whether the long-term investment in the equity portfolio is gainful. The fourth part is focused on confrontation of theoretical and practical parts of the work, and if the rules and obtained information from secondary research are kept in primary research. The results and conclusions can be found and analyzed with the results of the reflection on the current situation.
