The purpose of this bachelor paper is to analyze the clash of minor and major culture in Great Britain with the aim to characterize the Bangladeshi community in London. Účelem této bakalářské práce je analýza minoritní a majoritní kultury ve Velké Británii, jejímž cílem je charakterizovat bangladéšskou komunitu v Londýně. Práce popisuje proces asimilace a hodnotí vliv rodiny a zvyků. V první části této práce je vysvětleno potřebné historické pozadí. Zjištění jsou prezentována v románu Brick Lane od Monicy Ali.
