Pathological phenomena in society - drug addiction and social marketing non-profit organizations

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá patologickými jevy ve společnosti - drogovou závislostí a sociálním marketingem neziskových organizací. Znalost správného využití sociálního marketingu je jedním z předpokladů, jak úspěšně patologickým jevům předcházet. V obecné části diplomové práce se zaměřím na marketing v neziskových organizacích, patologické jevy ve společnosti a drogovou závislost. V aplikační části se pokusím ověřit, zda koncepce sociálního marketingu dané neziskové organizace dokáže efektivně ovlivnit patologické jevy a snížit riziko jejich výskytu v dané organizaci. Dalším cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda si sledované organizace jsou vědomy svých silných a slabých stránek, které ovlivňují správnou tvorbu koncepce sociálního marketingu a zda tuto tvorbu zlepšují rozvojem svých silných stránek a eliminací stránek slabých. V diplomové práci byla využita kvantitativní výzkumná strategie, kvalitativní výzkumná strategie a průzkum.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with a pathological phenomena in society – drug abuse. The thesis further maintains that a social marketing know-how of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is a crucial precondition of the pathological phenomena elimination. In the theoretical part of the diploma thesis several marketing strategies of the selected NGO were examined along with variol pathological phenomena in society including drug abuse. The practical part of the thesis was designed to verify whether a well-prepared koncept of the NGO’social marketing strategy can have an effective influence on pathological phenomena in society and thus decrease the risk of the occurrance in the given NGO. Another aim of the paper was to find out about the NGOs’ development strategy; whether the examined NGOs were aware of thein strengths and weaknesses which could affect an effective formativ of the appropriate social marketing strategy. Both quantitative and qualitative research methods were used in the diploma thesis.
