Use of Textile in Footwear Design

Abstract:

Hlavním aspektem této bakalářské práce je textil, konkrétně jeho použití v obuvnictví. Teoretická část se zabývá historií textilu u obuvi a uvádí jejich chronologické a funkční aspekty v minulosti. Dále se zabývá charakterizací vlastností a použití jednotlivých druhů textilií. Poslední kapitola je vyhrazená rešerši čistě textilní obuvi současného trhu. Praktická část bakalářské práce představuje autorské uchopení získaných poznatků přenesených do dámské kolekce s využitím textilu. Kolekce je doplněná oděvem, který podtrhuje obuv, jakožto nosný prvek kolekce.

Abstract:

The main aspect of this bachelor's thesis is textiles, specifically their application in the footwear industry. The theoretical part examines the history of textiles in footwear and presents their chronological and functional aspects in the past. It also characterizes the properties and uses of different types of textiles. The last chapter is dedicated to the research of purely textile footwear in the current market. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis represents the author's application of the acquired knowledge and their utilization in creating a women's collection using textiles. The collection is accompanied by a dress that complements the footwear as an integral element of the collection.
