Tato bakalářská práce je věnována odkazu Tomáše Bati seniora, zakladatele obuvnické společnosti Baťa, současným i budoucím manažerům. Teoretická část bakalářské práce je zaměřena na vysvětlení základních pojmů teorie managementu, dále se věnuje společnosti Baťa od počátků Tomášova podnikání až do okamžiku jeho tragické smrti a Baťovu pojetí manažerských funkcí. This bachelor paper is dedicated to Tomas Bata senior´s heritage, founder of the shoemaker´s company, for today´s and also future managers.
