Villa Tugendhat in the context of tourism in the town of Brno

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem práce je určení významu vily Tugendhat pro cestovní ruch ve městě Brně. V práci je prověřována teze, že se jedná o nejvýznamnější brněnskou atraktivitu a lákadlo pro turisty. Cílem práce je tedy posouzení toho, zda je vila hlavním aspektem rozvoje cestovního ruchu města Brna. Dále je v práci proveden popis vývoje a současného stavu cestovního ruchu Brně, jenž je v současné době zpracován v dokumentu Program rozvoje cestovního ruchu města Brna 2010–2015. Analytická část se zaměřuje na zpracování dotazníkového šetření k posouzení důležitosti vily Tugendhat pro cestovní ruch v Brně. Dílčím cílem je analýza návštěvnosti vily prostřednictvím statistické metody analýzy časových řad. Součástí je i predikce návštěvnosti do budoucna.

Abstract:

The main objective of this work was to determine the importance of Villa Tugendhat for tourism in the town of Brno. This work is trying to verify the proposition whether Villa Tugendhat is the most important attraction for tourists. The aim of this work is therefore to assess, whether the villa is a major aspect of the development of tourism in Brno. The work describes the development and current state of tourism in the town of Brno, which is currently covered in the document Program of the development of tourism in Brno 2010–2015. The analytical part focuses on processing of a questionnaire survey to evaluate the importance of Villa Tugendhat for tourism in Brno. A partial goal was an analysis of attendance of the villa through statistical methods of Time series analysis (TSA).
