Abstract:

Obsahem předložené diplomové práce, je pojetí banality zla Hannah Arendtové. Pokusím se vysvětlit na konkrétním příkladu Adolfa Eichmanna, tezi, se kterou přišla Arendtová po soudním líčení s válečným zločincem Eichmannem. V této práci se objevuje několik myšlenek Arendtové, které vyvolaly rozruch. Jedná se především o pohled na Eichmanna, jako na prostého úředníka. S tímto názorem nesouhlasí řada autorů. Některé reakce jsem se taktéž pokusil zmínit. Pro pochopení všech souvislostí jsem využil děl Immanuela Kanta, Karla Jasperse a Hannah Arendtové.

Abstract:

The content of this diplom thesis is the concept of the banality of evil Hannah Arendt's. I will try to explain on a concrete example of Adolf Eichmann, the thesis with which Arendt came to trial after war criminal Eichmann. In this work, there are several Arendt thoughts, that have stirred up. This is primarily about looking at Eichmann as a simple clerk. Many authors disagree with this view. I have also tried to mention some of the reactions. To understand all the connections, I used the works of Immanuel Kant, Karel Jaspers and Hannah Arendt.
