Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to compare two types of art: film and literature. We examine intersection of these two demonstrations of human creativity by means of film adaptation of Marcel Pagnol´s novel Jean de Florette and Manon of the Spring, directed by Claude Berri in 1986. Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl srovnat dva typy umění: film a literaturu. Průnik těchto dvou projevů lidské kreativity zkoumáme prostřednictvím filmové adaptace románu Marcela Pagnola z 60. let, Jean od Floretty a Manon od pramene, v režii Clauda Berriho z roku 1986.
